I’m back for my second semester of Optometry school!
Last semester went by so unbelievably fast
and it has been such a great journey so far.
I have learned so much already,
But I know I have a whole lot more to learn!
I am so blessed and so grateful to God for giving me this
opportunity
and getting me through that first semester.
I know it is going to get a lot harder.

I’ve been back for almost a month
and classes have already picked back up quite a bit.
The second weekend we were back,
our school had it’s annual conference called
“Eyeland of Enchantment”
where we stayed at a super awesome resort
that I definitely plan on going back to for vacation!
It was on the East side of the island in Fajardo,
and as awesome as the resort was on its own,
they also had their own private island
that they had a short ferry ride over to.. no big deal =P
We spent the first evening and the second morning
meeting with different optometry-related companies
and listening to lectures about all of the new innovations
going on throughout optometry.
It was an awesome learning experience,
and after the learning was over,
we were able to roam the resort at our own leisure!

I will be home the week before Easter
and I absolutely cannot wait to be back in
the wonderful state of Texas!
